DRAGON
Komodo
is considered as animal cannibals. Komodo, or more so-called Komodo dragon
(Varanus), is the world's largest lizard species. This lizard is called stempat
ora by natives of the island dragons. Komodo lived millions of years ago.
Komodo usually have
an average length of 2-3 m. adult dragons usually weighs about 70 pounds, but
dragons are kept in captivity often have a greater body weight. Komodo has a
tail as long as the body, and about 60 pieces of sharp serrated teeth along approximately
2.5 cm. long tongue owned dragons, yellow and branching. Komodo dragons males
larger than females, with skin color from dark gray to brick red owned by a
male dragon, while more female dragons green olives, and a small piece of

Komodo is a
carnivores. Other reptiles, small mammals, monkeys, wild pigs, goats, deer,
horses, and buffalo are dragons prey. Sometimes dragons also prey on humans and
carcasses. When hunting, dragons rely on camouflage and patience. Lay waiting
for passing prey. And hunt with dismember prey.
Animals that escaped from the jaws of dragons just
feel lucky to be brief. Because saliva dragons with more than 50 types of
bacteria and viruses in the infected animals. And in about a week, so that the
stricken creature died of blood poisoning. With the smell a sharp dragons can
find out the existence of prey. Dragons can eat 80 percent of the body weight

Stable extant populations between 3,000 and 5,000 on
the island of Komodo, Gila Motang, Rinca and Flores. However, the scarcity of
females laying eggs, hunting, human encroachment, and natural disasters have
prompted an endangered species.
